H14 · Sokuon
Goal: read 4 words with small っ (sokuon).
Before you start
This lesson assumes what you saw in the earlier ones. If something feels shaky, go back to it:
New kana
- っ
The small っ has no sound of its own: it is a short pause that doubles the next consonant. きって is read kitte.
Trace practice
Go over the shape with your finger, mouse or a stylus. It is free practice: it does not count towards passing the lesson.
Words
You practise them in kana; underneath you can see how they are usually written.
