Before you start

This lesson assumes what you saw in the earlier ones. If something feels shaky, go back to it:

What you learn

〜て ください

ください after the て-form asks for something politely. The て-form: -ru verbs change る to て (たべて); the others go by their last syllable: う, つ, る → って (かって); む, ぶ, ぬ → んで (のんで); く → いて (かいて), except いく → いって; す → して (はなして). Irregular: する → して, くる → きて.

Examples

Practice

Two rounds: first you pick what each sentence means; then you complete it with the missing form.
