What you learn

〜ましょうか

〜ましょうか offers to do something for the other person: てがみを かきましょうか (shall I write the letter?). Don't confuse it with 〜ましょう (G20), which suggests doing something together.

Examples

Practice

Two rounds: first you pick what each sentence means; then you complete it with the missing form.

A short text written only with the kana and grammar you already know. Read it and answer.

A friend sees you are very busy:

「てがみを かきましょうか」「はい、ありがとうございます」
